What a care plan actually covers — and what it doesn't
A care plan is not a retainer for unlimited work. It is a defined monthly service that handles the operational needs of a running website — the things that accumulate or break when nobody is actively watching.
Hosting
Every plan runs on Cloudflare's global CDN — no separate hosting bill or account for you to manage.
Daily backups
Automated backups stored independently from the live server, so a compromised site doesn't take the backup down with it.
Uptime monitoring
Alerts immediately if the site goes down, rather than waiting for a customer to notice first.
Security monitoring
Malware scanning, SSL certificate validity, and vulnerability checks. WordPress sites also get plugin and core updates — an unpatched plugin is the most common attack vector on Pakistani business websites. Hand-coded static sites have a smaller attack surface, but hosting-level issues are still caught before customers do.
Content updates
Changes a non-technical team member would make — updating a phone number, swapping a product photo, correcting a price, adding a new service to an existing page — within the monthly allowance.
What's not included
New pages, design changes, or feature development. These are quoted separately, at a discounted rate for care plan clients.
Common questions about care plans and pricing
Is hosting included?
Yes — hosting is included in every Care Plan, from Spark all the way up to Veloce, so there's no separate hosting bill to juggle.
What counts as a "content update"?
Swapping text, images, or prices — anything that doesn't need new pages or new design work. Bigger changes get a quick separate quote first, so nothing's a surprise. Each plan has a monthly cap so scope stays predictable on both sides.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Care Plans are month-to-month — cancel anytime. Custom development projects use a simple agreement before work starts, mainly to protect the deposit and the timeline.
How does payment work for a new project?
50% to begin, 50% on launch. Care Plans are billed monthly with no deposit.
What if my project doesn't fit neatly into a plan?
Most don't, exactly — the tiers above are a starting point. Final pricing for custom development is confirmed after the discovery call, based on what you actually need.
What if something breaks outside business hours?
Uptime monitoring runs 24/7. A site that goes completely offline is treated as urgent — typically addressed within 2–4 hours during Pakistan daytime or at the start of the next business day for overnight issues. Non-critical issues are addressed within one business day.
Can I cancel any time?
Plans run month to month. Cancel with 30 days notice. Your site, domain, and all files remain yours — we do not hold anything to maintain the relationship.
Do I need a plan if my site was hand-coded rather than WordPress?
Custom static sites have a much smaller attack surface than WordPress — no plugin ecosystem, no admin panel to brute-force. But hosting, backups, uptime monitoring, and content updates are still needed. The Starter plan is usually the right fit.
My site was built by someone else. Can you take it on?
Yes. We start with a technical review — current hosting, backup status, security configuration, any known issues. If the site needs remediation first we will say so and quote for it. If it is in reasonable condition we can onboard it to a plan directly.
Is hosting included, or billed separately?
Hosting is included in every plan. All care plan sites are hosted on Cloudflare Pages — CDN delivery from global edge locations. Load times from Lahore, Karachi, Mumbai, and Delhi are typically under 1.5 seconds. No separate hosting invoice, no hosting account for you to manage.
